I have been providing one-to-one IT support and training for decades. Here’s how I got here
I established my own Consultancy, providing bespoke database solutions to small organisations.
Over the years, my experience widened to cover the growing range of IT needs of PC users in small office and home office environments.
In 2002 I decided to stop taking on new database consultancy as more “off-the-peg” information-handling solutions had became available. This gave me the opportunity to broaden my range of Support and IT Consultancy Services, but I continued to concentrate on meeting the needs of small organisations and individual professionals. Many work in a home-office environment with no colleagues or specialised IT expertise to call upon.
From there, it was a natural progression to start to offer support to home users. From 1994-2009 I also kept a sharp focus on the real-world use of IT and micro-managing in business through involvement in producing a bi-monthly magazine for healthcare professionals – including IT and desktop publishing.
