I have been providing Computer Support and Training in London since the 1980s
Here’s how I arrived at providing computer support in London
1984 – present
In 1984, after studying Systems Analysis and Design at the Control Data Institute in Manchester, I returned to London. After a year gaining experience in the sale of computer hardware and software, I established my own Consultancy, providing database solutions to small organisations (eg client records, stock control, sales order processing).
Over the following years, my experience widened to cover the growing range of IT needs of PC users in small office and home office environments.
From there, it was a natural progression to offer computer support, training, and advice to home users as well as professionals and small organisations.
1994 – 2006
I also continued to keep a sharp focus on the real-world use of IT through involvement in producing a magazine for healthcare professionals. This included subscriptions management (for which I designed the subscriber database, of course), desktop publishing and IT Support.
1976 – 1983
Prior to specialising in IT, I had been involved in Sales and Marketing Management in London.
